Hana Bui

Hana Bui is an Intercultural Trainer and Coach for expats in Myanmar. She is also the author of the best-selling book “When Global Meets Local – How Expatriates can Succeed in Myanmar”.  It is the first-time guidebook for expats on how to work well with the Burmese. Hana carried out a notable survey about the working relationships between expats and locals here to bring up collective wisdom for expats to succeed in Myanmar. It includes the participation of over a hundred of expats and fifty Myanmar professionals.

Hana has worked and lived in Yangon for seven years and hold an MA on Globalization and Communications from University of Leicester, UK. She can speak Burmese, likes wearing eingyi and eating Burmese food.

Hana Bui is an intercultural trainer and author about Myanmar. Hana sees herself as a cultural bridge between Myanmar and the world.
